Form and Function-week 4

Continue Form and Function project

1. Studio: All sculptures should be finished and dried over the weekend. All artwork be ready for the kiln firing next week.

Check with Ms. Hsieh 

Create a rim to a lid:
Adding a coil attached to the bottom of the lid 


Add a coil to the inner wall of the vessel 

Write your class code and first name + last name initial underneath of the sculpture- on the back of the based layer.
Smooth the surface with a sponge
Do you have a cutout? 
Do you have additions? 
Do you design with textures?
Smooth the surface with a sponge
Dry the sculpture without a cover

The title is a short-expressional phrase that relates to motive.
The big idea is to further explain the title with personal internalized insights and stories to convey an educational, positive, and moral message to the community.
